The Carlock Public Library District Board of Trustees seeks to fill a vacancy caused by a resignation. The appointed trustee will serve until the next election (Spring 2025).
Potential appointees must reside within the library's district (Dry Grove, Kansas, or White Oak townships), be a qualified elector, and have resided within the district for at least one year.
The Board of Trustees meets monthly (except December) at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month. Trustees may also be called upon to attend special board meetings or participate in committee meetings.
No special or specific experience is needed to become a library trustee -- just a willingness to learn and an interest in libraries.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to our community by supporting and promoting the library.
